Memorandum of Association
Name of the society: Society of Minimally Invasive cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons of India.

Registered Office
The registered office of the Society shall remain in the Union Territory of Delhi and of the present it is in the following Address:
190 (Basement ), Sukhdev Vihar New Delhi – 1100 25 India.

Area of Operation
The area of operation of activities of society will be all over India .

Aim and Objective
The aim and objective for which the society is established are as under: -

To create political will at the highest level for framing policies towards creation of infrastructure, training of work force and adequate budgetary allocation towards the evolution of the specialty of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in its right perspective as across the India.
To liason and coordinate as on advisory body to the ministry of Health and family Welfare Government of India and other State Government towards creation of division of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery with the entire necessary infra structure specially where cardiovascular and thoracic surgery departments are already functional.
To encourage institutions to develop Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery programmers’ by providing all the necessary technical know how and expert consultations including planning and budgeting.
To liason and coordinate with Medical Council of India and he Ministry of Health and Family welfare Govt of India towards improving skills of Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery by Introduction of a structural training program in Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery during post doctoral training in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery coupled with compulsory update courses.
To upgrade the knowledge, Attitude and Practices of Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgeons , Cardiologist , Cardiothoracic anesthetist, Intensivist , Perfusionist and Nurses and Technical Staff by conducting CMES , workshops and Publications.
To establish registries for Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery procedures.
To launch and introduce all books, training, Manuals, Videos related to Education and other Publication brochures etc.
To tie up with one or more such institution/ bodies in the world to bring at par with international standards.
To enter into Collaborative research effort with reputed Government and autonomous institutions.
To work closely with all national and International institution for educational and Professional courses by way of organizing seminars and exhibition/ Workshop meetings etc.
To do all such things as may be necessary, incidental and conductive to the attainment of the overall or any of the objective of the society.
