In the era of technological revolution, we present to you a national level platform to discuss, learn and direct exchange of technology, techniques and new ideas from (amongst) leading cardiovascular & thoracic surgeons with tremendous experience in the field of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in India and the worldwide.

With your support and the responsibility bestowed upon me to lead this society, I feel that this society will take the field of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in India to utmost levels to provide the most advanced and quality cardiac surgical care to patients in every corner of this country.

The mission of the Society is to identify innovative cardiothoracic techniques and technologies that will minimize risk to patients and improve recovery times, then educate surgeons in the safe use of these techniques and technologies. SMICTSI is committed to lead and promote innovation and technological advancement in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery through scientific analysis and education fulfilling its mission with these programs.

I congratulate all the founder members and executive committee and all those attached to the society for making, the Inaugural Conference of SMICTSI held on 6th-7th August, 2016 at Delhi, a huge success which was attended by more than 320 cardiac surgeons from India and across the globe and widely participated by industry and other parterns.

Keeping up the momentum for our 2nd Conference to be held at Jaipur on 9th-10th September, 2017, I urge all the budding cardiac surgeons to enrol themselves for registration and hold the Key to future of cardiac surgery.
